Powered by ITB Asia and STB, TravelRevive is the first pilot hybrid tradeshow to trial the newly developed prototype for safe business events, safe itineraries and digital enablers in Singapore.

TravelRevive will bring together the travel industry to exchange ideas, bridge knowledge gaps and reimage the future of travel.

What To Expect

The two-day event will feature conference sessions, exhibitions as well as opportunities for one-to-one buyer-seller appointments in a safe manner. The event is expected to welcome 150 hosted buyers from countries across Asia.

TravelRevive will also be complemented with virtual conference sessions allowing the wider global audience to connect with regional travel businesses.

Location

There are two (2) aspects to TravelRevive – Virtual and Physical.

Virtual – The event’s exhibition and conference sessions will be made available online as well.

Physical – The event will be held at Sands Expo & Convention Centre, Bayfront Avenue, Singapore 018956. 

Attire

If you are attending the event in person, please note the appropriate attire for the event is Business Attire with formal and/or covered shoes unless part of an ethnic uniform. Anyone found not abiding by any terms and conditions stated on this page will be escorted out of the hall and/or have their badges confiscated/nulled by organisers, staffs and security personnel appointed by Messe Berlin (Singapore) Pte Ltd. The event organiser reserves the rights to verify all attendees prior to admission, refuse entry, nullify and/or confiscate badges without being required to give reasons. The house regulations of the venue will apply together with the Organiser’s general terms of business.

Masks must also be properly worn at all times – covering the nose and mouth as in the Safety Management Measures.

Attending Physically

As TravelRevive is working to become the benchmark event for safe business events, safe itineraries and digital enablers in Singapore, we will be expecting a mix of foreign and local attendees.

All attendees, foreign and local attendees, who will be arriving at Sands Expo Convention Centre must download and be registered on the Safe Travel Concierge (STC) app as well as TraceTogether Token.

Upon completion of your event registration, you will receive an event confirmation email that contains a link to register for STC.

Please note that the use of TraceTogether token and STC is compulsory!

Selected attendees may have to undergo the COVID-19 swab test and achieve a negative result prior to being allowed to enter event premises.

 

 

Foreign Attendees

All foreign delegates must seek approval and adhere to their local protocol prior to departing from their country. Travellers must apply through a sponsoring Government Agency and/or company as well as acquire the usual immigration visa, if required.

All foreign attendees must take the COVID-19 test before departure from their home country and after arrival in Singapore.

Attendees may be subjected to controlled itinerary while abroad. More details can be found at the SafeTravel Pass Website: https://safetravel.ica.gov.sg/

Upon arrival in Singapore, foreign delegates will be directed to the TravelRevive Welcome Desk located at T1 and T3 of Changi Airport to collect their TraceTogether Tokens. Please note that this is compulsory and supports nationwide efforts to combat COVID-19 by enabling contact tracing!

Foreign Attendees must adhere to the Pre-, During and Post-Arrival instructions.

Attending Virtually

As TravelRevive is a ticketed event, all attendees are required to register prior to being given access.

Note: Only registered attendees will be able to access the Virtual Exhibition and Conferences.

Regulations Applying to Passes

Buyer Passes

Individuals who are allowed to participate in the Buyer Programme must be travel agents, travel managers, MICE planners and industry professionals who are responsible for making or influencing buying decisions within the global travel market.

Messe Berlin (Singapore) Pte Ltd reserves the rights to cancel the participation of a Buyer, including after the Buyer’s acceptance onto the programme; for example, should it become apparent that the buyer is unlikely to fulfil their obligation and commitments to the programme.

You hereby declare that all information submitted is accurate and complete and Messe Berlin (Singapore) Pte Ltd reserves the right to cancel the participation of a Buyer should there be a discrepancy in the information submitted or if you’re serving notice of leaving your role.

By accepting the above terms and conditions, you agree to all relevant data protection legislation under Singapore law to Messe Berlin (Singapore) Pte Ltd and its partners commissioned as part of the Buyers Programme communicating with you by phone, fax and e-mail. Your personal information (except credit card details) can be used for internal processing and for disclosure to third parties such as exhibitors, hotels and transport providers in connection with your TravelRevive attendance. In addition, we may use your details to invite you to other events organised by Messe Berlin (Singapore) Pte Ltd or to offer you other relevant products and services supplied by Messe Berlin (Singapore) Pte Ltd or third parties.

The hotels, transportation companies and other service providers are independent contractors and are not agents or employees of Messe Berlin (Singapore) Pte Ltd or its affiliates. Therefore Messe Berlin (Singapore) Pte Ltd and its affiliates shall not be held liable for any act resulting thereof and beyond its direct control, including but not limited to overbooking, cancellation delay and force majeure. Furthermore, the participant shall indemnify Messe Berlin (Singapore) Pte Ltd and its affiliates of any damage or loss generated or caused by the participant which Messe Berlin (Singapore) Pte Ltd and its affiliates have to bear in relation to third parties.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and constructed in accordance with Singapore law.

 

Regulations Applying to all Types of Passes

Passes are issued in the holder’s name or must be filled in correctly by the holder, who should also sign them. Each individual will also be tagged to a MICE Pod for the purpose of ensuring safe management measures are met and in the unlikely case of a confirmed COVID-19 case at the event, the data will be used to identify close contacts. Therefore, passes are strictly not transferable and are only valid in conjunction with an official ID document. In cases of misuse the passes will be withdrawn without compensation.

Attendees found not abiding by any of the regulations stated within this General Terms and Conditions will be refused access and/or have their accounts suspended depending on the severity of the offence. Organisers, staffs and security personnel appointed by Messe Berlin (Singapore) Pte Ltd reserve the rights to verify all attendees prior to admission, nullify and/or suspend accounts without being required to give reasons. Please find other policies in regards to badges under Badge Policy.

Indemnity from infection-related situations

By participating at the Event, you agree to waive, release, absolve and forever discharge Messe Berlin (Singapore) Pte Ltd and Singapore Tourism Board, its officers, agents and representatives from all and any responsibility, actions, claims, demands, obligations and/or liability arising from any loss or damage (including without limitation and to the extent permissible by law, physical injury, infection, loss of life or property damage) sustained by you or caused as a result of your participation in the Travel and Event, or the suspension or cancellation of the Event due to a public health emergency.

Official Approval, Legal Regulations

In all cases, it is the responsibility of the attendees to obtain official approval. 

As an Exhibitor

Exhibitors are responsible for ensuring compliance with performing rights regulations, as well as with regulations pertaining to trading and industrial law, police regulations, health regulations and other legal requirements.

Exhibitors passes are valid for the duration of the exhibition or fair, for use by themselves only. In the case of joint participation by a few exhibitors, only the authorised exhibitor will receive the required passes.

As a Hosted Buyer

Protection of Copyrights and Patents

It is the responsibility of all attendees to ensure that copyrights and other laws governing industrial patents in Singapore are complied with.

Our business partners would be pleased to support the appearance of your company at the trade fair. Data protection law requires that we obtain your consent to the disclosure of your contact information to our partners. You can withdraw this consent from us at any time with effect for the future. Please note the data protection information in our General Terms of Business (§22) and in our data privacy policy on our website: itb-asia.com/privacy or miceshowasia.com/privacy.

The attendee expressly agrees that Messe Berlin (Singapore) may store, process, or disseminate personal information – including electronically processed data such as my contact information, i.e. my name, my phone number, my photo, my e-mail address and my fax number, to third parties – for business purposes in accordance with Singapore data protection laws.

The attendee expressly agrees that Messe Berlin (Singapore) may store, process or disseminate business information – including electronically processed data such as phone numbers, my e-mail addresses and fax numbers, to third parties – as long as necessary to achieve the objectives of Messe Berlin (Singapore) or its affiliates, or to fulfil any other justifiable needs such as the identity verification purposes.

The attendee expressly agrees that Messe Berlin (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. may transfer my contact information, i.e. my name, my phone number, my e-mail address and my fax number, to third parties for the purpose of optimizing and supporting the participation of my company at the trade fair and so that they can offer me their own specialized services for preparing and implementing my presentation at the fair, such as logistics services, Airport Services, PR services, TravelRevive catalogue/Quickfinder, TravelRevive App and Match Making Tool. The presently known recipients are PICO Art International Pte Ltd, Marina Bay Sands, Schenker Singapore Pte Ltd., Cleverdis Sarl, Klareco Communications, Focusinc International Corporation, GlobalSign.In Pte Ltd, A&D Printhub Pte Ltd, Jublia Pte. Ltd. and Acedaytons Direct Intl Pte Ltd.

More service providers may be added as and when the service offering changes or is expanded. I can withdraw this consent to the use of my personal data and e-mail address obtained as part of the exhibitor stand registration at any time with effect for the future. To do so, I simply need to send an e-mail to data-protection@itb-asia.com.

Digital Solutions Trials at TravelRevive

The organiser is working with the Singapore government to trial the use of digital solutions known as TraceTogether Tokens, MICE Pods and A*STAR Integrated AI Solution during TravelRevive, with the intent to ensure that attendees have a safe and enjoyable experience during the 2-day event. These digital solutions will enable formulating and monitoring the effectiveness of safe management measures (SMMS), facilitate contact tracing, and enhance visitor experience at TravelRevive and in Singapore. By attending TravelRevive, all participants consent to the event organisers and relevant government agencies to carry out the trials of such digital solutions. Information collected from the trials will be used solely for the purposes stated above and by authorised personnel of public sector bodies. All public sector data protection rules will apply to the data collected, including abiding by recommendations of the Public Sector Data Security Review Committee.”

Photography

The taking of photographs, films or videos on behalf of exhibitors during the daily opening hours of the event may only be carried out by photographers, film or video production companies authorised by Messe Berlin (Singapore) Pte Ltd and/or  Singapore Tourism Board and in possession of the appropriate pass.

Such authorisation also applies prior to and after the daily opening hours of the event. No other photographers or production companies will be permitted access to the Exhibition Grounds.

Messe Berlin (Singapore) Pte Ltd and/or  Singapore Tourism Board is entitled to take photographs, make drawings, or to make films or video recordings of events taking place at the fair, of structures and stands, or of exhibits, and to use these for advertising purposes or for publication in the media. No objections for whatever reason by exhibitors will be entertained. This also applies to photographs or recordings made directly by the press or television with the approval of Messe Berlin (Singapore) Pte Ltd and/or  Singapore Tourism Board.

As such, by registering and attending the event, you agree to the above and the “release of rights for video filming and videography” (see next point) as well.

Release of rights for video filming and videography

Please note that by attending TravelRevive, you are attending an Event where photography, audio and video recording may occur.

 

By entering the Event premises, you consent to interview(s), photography, audio recording, video recording and its/their release, publication, exhibition or reproduction to be used for news, web casts, promotional purposes, telecasts, advertising, inclusion on websites, social media or any other purpose by Messe Berlin (Singapore) Pte Ltd and Singapore Tourism Board, its agents and representatives. Images, photos or videos may be used to promote similar safe tradeshows in the future. You release Messe Berlin (Singapore) Pte Ltd and Singapore Tourism Board, their officers and employees and any and all persons involved from any liability in connection with the taking, recording, digitising, publication and use of interviews, photographs, computer images, video or sound recordings.

 

By entering the Event premises, you waive all rights you may have to any claims for payment or royalties in connection with any use, exhibition, streaming, web casting, televising, or other publication of these materials, regardless of the purpose or sponsoring of such use, exhibiting, broadcasting, web casting, or other publication and irrespective of whether a fee for admission or sponsorship is charged. You also waive any right to inspect or approve any photo, video or audio recording taken by Messe Berlin (Singapore) Pte Ltd and Singapore Tourism Board, their officers or employees or any person or entity designated to do so by Messe Berlin (Singapore) Pte Ltd and Singapore Tourism Board.

 

You have been fully informed of your consent, waiver of liability, and release before entering the Event venue.

Badge Policy

The attendee understands that by registering for the event and/or participating in Business Matching, they will be providing that exhibitor or sponsor their personal data (as disclosed upon registration and/or as uploaded e-Business Cards). The attendee thus consents to this personal data being transferred and accepts that this exhibitor or sponsor may contact them about their products or services. They also understand and agree that their personal data may be held and used by the organiser of this event, and any third-party hosting provider acting on its behalf, in order to stage the event and to analyse visitor traffic with a view to improving the event experience for participants.

The house regulations of the venue will apply together with the Organiser’s general terms of business. Attendees found not abiding by any of the above regulations, will be requested to return their badges. Please see other policies in regard to badges under Regulations Applying to Passes.

Force Majeure

Cancellation of the Event

If Messe Berlin (Singapore) Pte Ltd is prevented from holding the event for reasons outside its own control or that of the attendee, all claims to the stand rental, registration fees and ticket purchase become void.

Rescheduling of the Event

If Messe Berlin (Singapore) is in a position to hold the event at a later date it must notify all attendees immediately. Attendees are entitled to cancel their participation in the event if it is rescheduled, provided such cancellation is given within one week following receipt of this notification after which, claims for refund no longer apply.

For Events that have Already Commenced

If Messe Berlin (Singapore) is obliged to shorten or cancel an event that has already begun, as a result of force majeure, all attendees are not entitled to assert claims for repayment or for exemption from the charge.

Redemptory Clause

If any individual provisions in these conditions of participation become void, this shall not affect the validity of the other regulations. The void provision should be altered in such a way as to fulfil the intended purpose.

Federal Data Protection Law (BDSG)

Personal data about anyone with whom we are involved in the business will be stored and processed in accordance with §§ 28 and 29 BDSG within the terms of the contractual arrangement.

The event organiser reserves the right to amend and/update these terms & conditions without notifying the attendee. It is the responsibility of the attendee to ensure that he/she has read and agreed to the above Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy prior to registering for the event.
