Jackey is the co-leader of McKinsey’s Travel and tourism practice in Asia. With the 12 year experience in the firm, he focuses on advising travel and tourism clients, such as global and local leading theme parks, resorts, airlines, cruise lines and travel agencies, etc., in strategy design and implementation, sales & marketing transformation, organization & governance optimization.
Jackey leads the Greater China Travel and Tourism team on transformative engagements in the region, such as advising leading international hotel groups to design competitive business model, setup multi-layer branding strategy for reach different customer segments; helping leading theme park and attractions groups to build functional capabilities in sales & marketing, channel management, pricing model and salesforce efficiency improvement; assisting global cruise liners to assess Asia market potential and the potential market entry strategy.
Jackey also spearheads regional knowledge development for reach and relevance, and is the co-author of the latest McKinsey whitepaper on China tourism, and tourism recovery in Asia under COVID-19.
Before his time in McKinsey, Jackey worked in marketing role in Yahoo! Hong Kong. And he was educated in Hong Kong, France and Singapore, and holds an M.B.A from INSEAD, and Bachelor of Business Administration from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Jackey now lives in Hong Kong, and he is a dad to two young children and is a big foodie and passionate traveler.
