Abraham Alapatt is a Marketing & Brand professional with 25 years of professional experience at senior strategic levels across the varied domains of Brand building/advertising, Business Communication, Innovation, PR/media relations, customer-centric marketing from ideation to process engineering and MarTech.

During this period, he has worked as part of senior management teams, with 2 leading advertising agencies including Ogilvy, an international web solutions start-up, a leading asset management company (mutual fund), a bank, a national life + general insurance company (as part of its original start up team) and currently leads the Marketing, Media Relations, Service Quality, Innovation and Value Added Services teams of India’s largest integrated travel services group that includes Thomas Cook India, SOTC, Sita, Distant Frontiers, TCI勝景遊 in Hong Kong, Luxe Asia in Sri Lanka and a Global Destination Management network. The Thomas Cook India Group collectively today, spans 25 countries and 5 continents. The Group also has significant investments in Quess Corp, DEI (a global leader in attraction imaging) & owns Sterling Holidays.

Abraham serves on the Executive Council of the Indian Society of Advertisers (ISA) and is a part-time writer/columnist/panelist/speaker who has featured in various business publications & Brand & Marketing forums and publications such as Campaign India, exchange4media, Brand Equity etc. He has served on the juries of the Asia Pac Effie twice and India Effies thrice among many others.

Abraham has also been instrumental in setting up and currently serves as the CEO of the Fairfax India Charitable Foundation (www.fairfaxindiafoundation.org) that has since its registration in November 2016, embarked on a National Dialysis Initiative aimed at enhancing sustainable, free/affordable dialysis access in remote areas of the country. FICF has installed over 520 free to use dialysis machines across 98 centres spread over 16 states and delivered over 400000 free dialysis sessions for needy patients.

Abraham is a Commerce graduate from Loyola College, Chennai and an MBA in Marketing & International Marketing from the School of Communication & Management Studies, Cochin.
