The ‘Event’: ITB India is an annual 3-day business-to-business trade show and convention curated to connect you to the Indian Travel Market. ITB India brings together key travel industry leaders and international exhibitors from various segments of MICE, Leisure, Corporate and Travel & Technology.

Capture the fast-growing Indian and South Asian Markets, forge new partnerships and strengthen existing business relations with the most important players at ITB India.

ITB India 2023 will be held at Jio World Convention Centre – Mumbai from 26 – 28 April 2023.

ITB India will be held at Jio World Convention Centre – Mumbai from 26 – 28 April 2023.

Note: Pre-approval and/or Registration is required for this event. Attendees found not abiding by any of the regulations stated within this General Terms and Conditions will be refused access and/or have their accounts suspended depending on the severity of the offense. The Organiser reserves the right to verify all attendees prior to admission, nullify and/or suspend accounts without being required to give reasons.

Location

ITB India 2023, featuring MICE Show India and Travel Tech India, will be held at Jio World Convention Centre – Mumbai from 26 – 28 April 2023.

*Only registered attendees with valid passes will be able to access the exhibition halls.

Admission Rules and Regulations

Terminology: Badges and Passes are used interchangeably.

 

Professionals, trade and business visitors only. Minors and members of the general public will not be admitted. Attendees are also required to dress in appropriate business attire.

Individuals below the age of 18 and infants in arms/strollers are strictly not allowed inside the exhibition halls at any time.

Badges are required to gain access to the exhibition halls and are to be worn on-site at all times. You are encouraged to print your badge before you arrive and then pick up your lanyard onsite.

Passes are valid for the duration of the exhibition or fair, for use by the registrant themselves only.

These badges are issued in the holder’s name or must be filled in correctly by the holder, who should also sign them. They are non-refundable, non-transferable and are only valid for the registered event. In cases of misuse, the passes will be withdrawn without compensation.

 

Organisers and staff of Messe Berlin (Singapore) Pte Ltd reserve the right to verify all attendees prior to access and/or suspend registration without being required to give reasons and/or compensation. Please find other policies in regards to badges under Pass Policy.

You hereby declare that all information submitted is accurate and complete and Messe Berlin (Singapore) Pte Ltd reserves the right to cancel the participation of an attendee should there be a discrepancy in the information submitted or if you’re serving notice of leaving your role.

Kindly note that the Organiser reserves the right to revoke all access should any terms be violated as well as upon cancellation of participation.

Attendees found not abiding by any of the regulations stated within this General Terms and Conditions will be refused access and/or have their accounts suspended depending on the severity of the offense. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse admission or to remove any person without giving a reason. This also applies to build-up and dismantling periods.

By registering for the event, you agree to all relevant data protection legislation under Singapore law to Messe Berlin (Singapore) Pte Ltd and its partners commissioned as part of the event’s communication with you by phone, fax and e-mail. Your personal information (except credit card details) can be used for internal processing and for disclosure to third parties such as exhibitors, hotels and transport providers in connection with your ITB India attendance. In addition, we may use your details to invite you to other events organised by Messe Berlin (Singapore) Pte Ltd or to offer you other relevant products and services supplied by Messe Berlin (Singapore) Pte Ltd or third parties.

The hotels, transportation companies and/or other service providers are independent contractors and are not agents or employees of Messe Berlin (Singapore) Pte Ltd or its affiliates. Therefore the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce, Messe Berlin (Singapore) Pte Ltd and its affiliates shall not be held liable for any act resulting thereof and beyond its direct control, including but not limited to overbooking, cancellation delay and force majeure. Furthermore, the participant shall indemnify the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce, Messe Berlin (Singapore) Pte Ltd and its affiliates of any damage or loss generated or caused by the participant that Messe Berlin (Singapore) Pte Ltd and its affiliates have to bear in relation to third parties.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and constructed in accordance with Singapore law.

 

Indemnity from unforeseen situation

By participating at the event, you agree to waive, release, absolve and forever discharge Indo-German Chamber of Commerce and Messe Berlin (Singapore) Pte Ltd, its officers, agents and representatives from all and any responsibility, actions, claims, demands, obligations and/or liability arising from any loss or damage (including without limitation and to the extent permissible by law, physical injury, infection, loss of life or property damage) sustained by you or caused as a result of your participation in the Travel and Event, or the suspension or cancellation of the Event due to a public health emergency (e.g. COVID-19 pandemic).

COVID-19 Guidelines for International Attendees

With effect from 1 January 2023, all international attendees are highly recommended to be fully vaccinated as per the approved primary schedule of vaccination against COVID-19 in their home country. 

Additional requirements are applicable to international attendees from high risk countries (China, Singapore, Hong Kong, Republic of Korea, Thailand and Japan). Such attendees are required to:

  1. Submit complete and factual information via the self-declaration form on the online Air Suvidha portal (www.newdelhiairport.in) before the scheduled travel, including last 14 days’ travel details.
  2. Upload negative COVID-19 RT-PCR report on the Air Suvidha portal (The test should have been conducted within 72 hrs prior to undertaking the journey).
  3. Submit a declaration with respect to authenticity of the report. Should there be any discrepancies/inconsistencies of the report, attendees may be liable for criminal prosecution.
  4. Attendees should also give an undertaking on the Air Suvidha portal or otherwise to Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India, through concerned airlines before they are allowed to undertake the journey that they would abide by the decision of the appropriate government authority for any post arrival requirement including home/institutional quarantine/self-health monitoring, as warranted.

Official Approval, Legal Regulations

In all cases, it is the responsibility of the attendees to obtain official approval. 

As an Exhibitor

All Exhibitors are responsible for ensuring compliance with performing rights regulations, as well as with regulations pertaining to trading and industrial law, police regulations, health regulations and other legal requirements.

Every exhibiting company will receive an allotment of passes based on their booth/sponsorship and every member of your staff will require a badge to gain access to the halls. These badges are required to be worn on-site at all times. You are encouraged to print your badge before you arrive and then pick up your lanyard onsite.

All Exhibitor passes are valid for the duration of the exhibition or fair, for use by the registrant themselves only. In the case of joint participation by a few exhibitors, only the authorised exhibitor will receive the required passes.

Kindly note that the Organiser reserves the right to revoke all access should any terms be violated as well as upon cancellation of participation.

As a Buyer

Individuals who are allowed to participate in the Buyer Programme must be travel agents, travel managers, MICE planners and industry professionals who are responsible for making or influencing buying decisions within the global travel market.

All Buyers are required to have a badge to gain access to the halls. Badges are required to be worn on-site at all times. You are encouraged to print your badge before you arrive and then pick up your lanyard onsite.

All Buyers are responsible for ensuring compliance with performing rights regulations, as well as with regulations pertaining to trading and industrial law, police regulations, health regulations and other legal requirements.

Buyer passes are valid for the duration of the exhibition or fair, for use by the registrant themselves only.

Kindly note that the Organiser reserves the right to revoke all access should any terms be violated as well as upon cancellation of participation.

Messe Berlin (Singapore) Pte Ltd reserves the right to cancel the participation of a Buyer, including after the Buyer’s acceptance onto the programme; for example, should it become apparent that the buyer is unlikely to fulfil their obligation and commitments to the programme.

By accepting the above terms and conditions, you agree to all relevant data protection legislation under Singapore law to Messe Berlin (Singapore) Pte Ltd and its partners commissioned as part of the Buyers Programme communicating with you by phone, fax and e-mail. Your personal information (except credit card details) can be used for internal processing and for disclosure to third parties such as exhibitors, hotels and transport providers in connection with your ITB India attendance. In addition, we may use your details to invite you to other events organised by Messe Berlin (Singapore) Pte Ltd or to offer you other relevant products and services supplied by Messe Berlin (Singapore) Pte Ltd or third parties.

Protection of Copyrights and Patents

It is the responsibility of all attendees to ensure that copyrights and other laws governing industrial patents in India and Singapore are complied with.

Data Privacy Policy

For All Attendees

Personal data are collected, processed and used by IGCC and, if applicable, by its service partners in accordance with the provisions of the Information and Technology Act 2000 and other relevant data protection regulations in India for the purpose of providing support and information for customers and potential customers and for the handling of services offered.

Our business partners would be pleased to support the appearance of your company at the trade fair. Data protection law requires that we obtain your consent to the disclosure of your contact information to our partners.

Personal data regarding EU residents are collected, processed and used by IGCC and, if applicable, by its service partners in accordance with the provisions of EU General Data Protection Regulations.

You can withdraw this consent from us at any time with effect in the future. Please note the data protection information in our General Terms of Business (§22) and in our data privacy policy on our website: itb-india.com/privacy. However, your participation at the event will be revoked as well, upon disagreeing and/or denying the Event’s Data Privacy Policy.

The attendee expressly agrees that by registering for the event, the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce and/or Messe Berlin (Singapore) may store, process or disseminate business information – including electronically processed data such as phone numbers, my e-mail addresses and fax numbers, to third parties – as long as necessary to achieve the objectives of Messe Berlin (Singapore) or its affiliates, or to fulfil any other justifiable needs such as the identity verification purposes.

The attendee expressly agrees that Messe Berlin (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. may transfer my contact information, i.e. my name, my phone number, my e-mail address and my fax number, to third parties for the purpose of optimizing and supporting the participation of my company at the trade fair and so that they can offer me their own specialized services for preparing and implementing my presentation at the fair, such as logistics services, Airport Services, PR services, Show Catalogue/Quickfinder, Event App and Match Making Tool. The presently known recipients are Aventri, Focusinc International Corporation, GlobalSign.In Pte Ltd, and Jublia Pte. Ltd.

More service providers may be added as and when the service offering changes or is expanded. I can withdraw this consent to the use of my personal data and e-mail address obtained as part of the exhibitor stand registration at any time with effect for the future. To do so, I simply need to send an e-mail to data-protection@messe-berlin.asia

ITB Community
As all attendees of ITB India are automatically members of the ITB Community, by registering for ITB India, you expressly agree to the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy of ITB Community as well.

Pass Policy

The attendee understands that by registering and/or participating in for the event, they will be providing that exhibitor or sponsor their personal data (as disclosed upon registration and/or as uploaded e-Business Cards). The attendee thus consents to this personal data being transferred and accepts that this exhibitor or sponsor may contact them about their products or services. They also understand and agree that their personal data may be held and used by the organiser of this event, and any third-party hosting provider acting on its behalf, in order to stage the event and to analyse visitor traffic with a view to improving the event experience for participants.

The house regulations of the venue will apply together with the Organiser’s general terms of business. Attendees found not abiding by any of the above regulations, will be revoked access without having to give reasons. Please see other policies in regard to badges under Regulations Applying to Passes.

Force Majeure

Cancellation of the Event

In the event that the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce and/or Messe Berlin (Singapore) Pte Ltd is prevented from holding the event for reasons outside its own control or that of the attendee, all claims to the registration fees and ticket purchase become void.

Rescheduling of the Event

If the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce and/or Messe Berlin (Singapore) is in a position to hold the event at a later date, it must notify all attendees immediately. Attendees are entitled to cancel their participation in the event if it is rescheduled, provided such cancellation is given within one week following receipt of notification. After which, claims for refund no longer apply.

For Events that have Already Commenced

If the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce and/or Messe Berlin (Singapore) is obliged to shorten or cancel an event that has already begun as a result of force majeure, all attendees are not entitled to assert claims for repayment or for exemption from the charge.

Redemptory Clause

If any individual provisions in these conditions of participation become void, this shall not affect the validity of the other regulations. The void provision should be altered in such a way as to fulfil the intended purpose.

Federal Data Protection Law (BDSG)

Personal data about anyone with whom we are involved in the business will be stored and processed in accordance with §§ 28 and 29 BDSG within the terms of the contractual arrangement.

The event organiser reserves the right to amend and/update these terms & conditions without notifying the attendee. It is the responsibility of the attendee to ensure that he/she has read and agreed to the above Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy prior to registering for the event.
